Alphaville aims to amplify the underappreciated voices from the local music scene and further afield, as well as independently promoting some of our favourite established artists, fuelled by an art school sensibility and radical ethos.

In 2020 we launched Alphaville Records - a DIY label that aims to nurture and promote underground music from the North of the UK. It’s a project that rejects the corporate nostalgia of the Manctopia project by documenting the grassroots voices of dissent.
